Pixar’s Mary Coleman Joins Locksmith Animation As Chief Creative Officer

We’re excited to announce that Mary Coleman has joined Locksmith Animation as Chief Creative Office.

Mary Coleman was Head of Creative Development for 23 years at Pixar Animation Studios. Pixar Co-founder Ed Catmull brought her in to help create the studio’s development department. Mary worked closely with Pixar’s directors from original concept through final draft, supporting their vision. She was the first woman to participate on Pixar's Brain Trust, providing creative feedback on all films in production. She is known for finding rising star talent and launching screenwriting careers. During her tenure, Pixar created a legacy of modern classics including Monsters, Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles (1 and 2,) Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story (2-4), Brave, Inside Out, Finding Dory, Coco, Onward, Soul, Luca, and Turning Red.
