Role Summary
Locksmith Animation, London is seeking a highly organised, proactive assistant to support the CCO of a dynamic animation studio. This role will also provide additional support to the Development Team. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to the creative process under the mentorship of our Chief Creative Officer, within an inspired, storytelling animation focused environment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support the planning and organisation of the Chief Creative Officer’s day to day.
  • The role is approximately split 70% supporting the CCO and 30% development support, this is flexible depending on demands of the role.
  • Core responsibilities include:
    • Proactive planning
    • Calendar management:
      • Managing complex schedules across multiple time zones with internal and external parties
      • Keeping the CCO on schedule
      • Ensuring prep time for critical meetings
    • Meeting coordination:
      • Meeting set up
      • Coordination of presentation materials
      • Welcoming visiting creatives
      • Arranging meals as needed
    • Expense & travel management, including:
      • Arranging travel plans
      • Compiling documents for travel-related meetings
      • Coordinating expense reports
      • Providing travel agendas
  • Development Support
    • Compiling an Animation Industry newsletter
    • Logging submissions
    • Taking art and story session notes as needed
    • Researching talent the team is considering
    • Supporting the U.S. based Head of Development while in London

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Assistant experience, within the entertainment industry essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, Teams)
  • Solution oriented, resourceful
  • Highly organized, detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate multi-national office dynamics
  • Current hybrid work pattern is Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in office with Monday and Friday remote. Must be willing to come in as needed on Monday/Friday

Office hours are 9.30AM-6.30PM. A flexible approach is required to support the CCO having some evening meetings with the U.S.
