Job Title: Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Reports to: Head of Culture (UK), with close collaboration with the CEO (US)
Contract: Part-time (2–3 days per week initially)
Hours & Salary 2-3 days a week, (24 hours). Salary £35,000 pro-rated

The Role
Locksmith Animation is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator to own the day-to-day execution of our social media presence and support our wider digital brand output.
Social media is the core focus of this role. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content that builds awareness of our films and series, strengthens Locksmith’s brand in the digital space, and supports marketing campaigns by creating excitement and urgency around key moments.
The role also supports website updates and ensures brand consistency across key digital and presentation materials.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media (Primary Focus)
- Own the day-to-day execution of Locksmith Animation’s social media channels
- Plan, schedule, and publish content using a clear content calendar
- Create social-first content including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video
- Develop behind-the-scenes, talent-led, and studio culture content
- Support film and series campaigns to build awareness, momentum, and urgency
- Monitor performance and engagement, using insights to refine content and improve results
Content Creation
- Write clear, engaging social captions aligned with brand voice
- Repurpose existing assets into social-native formats
- Edit short-form video for social platforms
- Capture occasional photography or video at studio events
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines
Website & Digital Content
- Update and maintain the Locksmith Animation website with new content, imagery, and video
- Publish campaign-related updates and announcements
- Ensure website content remains current and aligned with social messaging
- Support larger website updates in collaboration with internal and external partners
Brand & Presentation Support
- Support the creation and upkeep of company presentation templates
- Edit and polish presentations to ensure visual consistency
- Assist with studio materials such as event invitations and seasonal communications
- Support studio gifting and holiday card projects as needed
About You
- 2–4 years’ experience in social media, content, or digital roles
- Strong understanding of what drives engagement and growth on social platforms
- Confident creating short-form, social-first content
- Comfortable with tools such as Canva and basic Adobe or video editing software
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
