Andrew Baker is an award-winning Producer and Executive Producer and founder of Cantilever Media, a UK based film and television production company.

Cantilever Media’s first animated theatrical feature film was The Amazing Maurice, based on the award-winning book The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents by Sir Terry Pratchett, written by Terry Rossio (Shrek, Aladdin) and co-produced with Ulysses Productions in Germany (Louis and the Aliens, Oops Noah is Gone). The film stars Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, David Thewlis, Himesh Patel, Gemma Arterton, Hugh Bonneville, Ariyon Bakare, Joe Sugg, Julie Atherton and David Tennant. The Amazing Maurice was longlisted for Best Animated Feature in the BAFTA Film Awards 2022, Won ‘Best Animation’ at Cartoons on the Bay, the ‘Audience Choice’ Award at the Nantes Les Utopiales and premiered in the USA at the Sundance Film Festival.

In 2023, Andrew was shortlisted for CARTOON European Animation Producer of the Year.

Andrew has also produced, or executive produced, a number of documentary features including Buena Vista Social Club: Adios, I Am Duran, The United Way, Elizabeth Windsor (Amazon), and the Sky Original series Mission to Burnley.

Andrew is currently producing Badjelly a 13 x 20’ 2D animated series based on Spike Milligan’s classic children’s story.
