Donubari joined Locksmith Animation as the Studio Receptionist in 2026.

Inspired by the cartoons he watched growing up, Donu has used his passion for visual storytelling to explore how media and entertainment resonate with people. He recently graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA in Animation Production. During that time, he directed an animated short film called “Look at the Sky”.

Since graduating, Donu has made it a mission to learn as much about the animation industry as possible by attending and volunteering at animation festivals. He is also currently a Storyboard/Production Trainee on ScreenSkills’ Animation Trainee Finder Programme.

Prior to joining Locksmith Animation, Donu worked as an English and Maths tutor at the tuition company, Explore Learning. He has taken this experience of working with children alongside a great team to inform his desire to work with inspirational people.

When not on the grind, Donu enjoys playing video games, life drawing, and storyboarding his passion projects. Moreover, he is also an avid baker, with his signature dish being his iconic Biscoff tres leches cake.
