Elja is the Script, Casting and Performance Coordinator on Bad Fairies. She is rejoining the Locksmith Animation team after having previously worked on That Christmas as the Production Assistant at Locksmith Animation and Central Production Coordinator at DNEG. Since That Christmas, she has worked at Paramount Nickelodeon as a Production Coordinator for the promo/marketing team and was freelancing on shoots and in theatre.

From early on, Elja developed a passion for the creative industries. Making short films or performing on stage herself, she could always be found surrounded by the arts. In 2020, she graduated from her Master’s in Producing Film & Television at Bournemouth University in the midst of lockdown. During this time, she produced and co-wrote the award-winning short film One In Three.

When she isn’t working at Locksmith, you can find her freelancing as a Stage Manager in theatre or events. When she does have free time, Elja loves to read, go to the gym, theatre and cinema, and hang out with friends. On Sundays, you will find her watching Formula 1 on the sofa or in the local pub.
