Thomas is the Visual Development Artist for Bad Fairies at Locksmith. After graduating from design school in Munich with a diploma, Thomas joined the collaborative studio DIE ARTILLERIE in 1998. In 2019, he founded the collaborative studio REAKT · R in Munich. From his studios, Thomas has spent over 25 years working as a freelance illustrator, art director, concept artist, storyboard artist, character designer, and comic book artist for advertising agencies, publishers, and production companies worldwide.

He brings his passion for storytelling and his dedication to the synergy of aesthetics and narrative to his own comic projects, as well as to film projects for both large and small studios around the globe.

Thomas co-developed and illustrated the comic book series GUNG HO, which has been published internationally and has won several awards. While he usually works alone as a comic artist, he prefers collaborating within a team.
